Terms of Use

Using First 8 Seconds

You must be at least 13 years old to use First 8 Seconds. The game is designed primarily for adults. First 8 Seconds is provided for personal entertainment and learning. Do not interfere with the service, automate answers, manipulate Duel matchmaking or ready states, exploit rewards, reverse engineer protected services, or use the game unlawfully.

Questions, scores, and Duels

Question content can be updated or corrected. Scores, streaks, levels, and virtual rewards have no cash value and may be corrected when needed to address abuse or technical errors. Duels are free to enter and have no Coin stake or prize pot. The category wheel offers up to two free spins per day, chooses a category, and may grant a random virtual Coin bonus. Wheel spins cannot be purchased with Coins.

Availability

We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change during TestFlight and early releases.

Ownership and feedback

The game, visual identity, software, and question presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy or commercially redistribute them. If you send general feedback, you allow us to use it to improve First 8 Seconds without an obligation to compensate you. Your nickname and written incorrect-question objections remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use them only to operate and moderate the game: to show your nickname to other players and review your objections.

Responsible use and liability

Quiz content is for entertainment and general learning, not professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
